Table Rock Lake Resort Fishing

Cres-Vu Lodge

Table Rock Lake

The Table Rock Lake dam was created in 1952 and it took 7 years for Table Rock Lake to fill up. The lake has over 800 miles of shoreline and 43,000 acres of water. With the great Ozark Mountian scenery, the lake has grown to be a favorite getaway for fishermen. Table Rock has great fishing of all kinds: crappie, bluegill, paddlefish, huge catfish, as well as several varieties of bass. The Baxter area in particular is known for its bass fishing through the years. And the best part is. . .you can fish all year long because the lake never freezes! Known for its clarity, the water of Table Rock Lake is fantastic for SCUBA diving, and you never know what you may find near the bottom! (Ghost town, anyone?) Table Rock is also seldom crowded, save a handful of places on July 4th and Labor Day weekends, so you can always find your own little niche to enjoy the lake. Whether you prefer a quiet cove with a couple of beers and lots of crappie or a nice deep open area for skiing, wakeboarding, and tubing, you can find it! Table Rock Lake is known to be the "family lake of Missouri" because it is the perfect place for family reunions. There is not only enough variety to please everyone, there is enough space to separate the kiddies from the parties and the skiiers from the fishermen, and the pontoon boat ladies who just like to relax and soak up the sun from everybody else! And everybody can come together in the evenings to grill while the bass boats recharge, the children crash & burn, and the cousins reminisce.
